Winemakers for generations, Family Sorges acquired Château Haut Médou in 1957. They started with only 6 hectares of vineyards and extended to more than 200 hectares in Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations. Château Haut Médou has a deep red colour, with a rich nose of black fruits aromas. On the palate this wine has a well-balanced evolution with velvety mature tannins.

60% Merlot - 40% Cabernet Sauvignon This exceptional ''terroir cuvée'' is produced from a selection of the oldest vineyards. All the grapes are hand picked and sorted. After a total de-stemming, the long maceration during the vinification is performed under careful temperature control to bring out the best parts of the tannins potential. The wine has been aged in new French casks for 12 months long in the underground cellars of the Château. Winemakers comments: Deep colour, aromas of blackberries and hints of spice. The ageing has given elegance to its rich and tannic structure. Fine and soft with smooth, well integrated tannins on the palate, this full bodied wine deserves its place alongside any Bordeaux Grand Cru.

Grapes sourced from selected, south facing vineyards, this wine was produced using 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. This full bodied elegant red with soft tannins is deep ruby in colour and has aromas of red fruit and spices. Delicious with duck, roasted and grilled meat dishes.

A stunning property dating back to the 17th century, the Château Sissan vineyard estate stretches out to the uppermost reaches of Camblanes, guaranteeing the vines are ideally situated. The wine has a delicate and elegant bouquet, exuding aromas of red fruits and spice. Fleshy on the palate with a round and mellow finish.

Lady De Mour Margaux (75 cl), €37.99

This is Margaux in its purest form. Cabernet Sauvignon is supported by Merlot and a touch of Cabernet Franc that has been aged in oak for 12-15 months. Delicate notes of red berries on the nose, so very typical of Margaux. Elegant and well-structured ripe dark fruits combine with silky tannins giving the wine a wonderfully long and pleasing finish. Enjoy this wine now or age for 5 to 10 years.
