Preparation & Usage
Cafetière: Warm up cafetière first by rinsing it with hot water. Add ground coffee in and fill with hot, not boiling water. Let it brew for 5 mins. Plunge and enjoy. Pour over: Boil the water (Tip: For best results use filtered water, hot, not boiling) and insert filter into V60 cone or Chemex®. Pour some water through the filter to rinse it. Discard the rinse water, add coffee. Pour enough water to soak all of the coffee (about 1/3 of total water) and wait 30 seconds. Slowly pour the remainder of your water onto the coffee avoiding the wall of the filter and pouring in slow, circular motions in a few intervals. Brewing time (per cup) should be between 2 and 3 minutes. Espresso: 16g, 50ml, 25 seconds. Guidelines only. Always grind your beans just before brewing to retain freshness. Use 6g of ground coffee per 100ml of water. Tip: For one 250ml cup, use 3 heaped teaspoons (15g coffee). Grind to required size.
Storage Guidelines
Once opened, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Never refrigerate your coffee. Roll top of pack down and seal to retain freshness.
