World's Oldest Licensed Whiskey Distillery Found on County Antrim's rugged coastline, the village of Bushmills is home to the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery. Official records stretch back to 1608, when the area was granted its license to distil. Over 400 years later, whiskey is still being made in Bushmills, thanks to experience and craft passed down from generation to generation. We couldn't make our whiskey anywhere but here. Our water, drawn from the River Bush, flows over beds of basalt rock, the same rock that lends its unique character to another famous local attraction - the Giant's Causeway. Bushmills is more than just a whiskey. It's a village, where family, friends and neighbours work side by side at the distillery. As we often say, "without the village, there would be no whiskey and without the whiskey, there would be no village".

West Cork Black Cask Irish Whiskey is a fine blend of grain (66%) and malt (34%) whiskey aged in first fill bourbon casks for a period of three years, and then polish matured for a further year in heavily charred bourbon casks. The end result is a beautifully balanced whiskey with a taste of vanilla and lingering sweetness.

First, we take the best of pot still and fine grain whiskeys. Then we triple distil them. Not because we have to, because we want to - this gives Jameson its signature smoothness. This tradition began in 1780 with John Jameson, and we continue his legacy to this day. Finally, we age our whiskey in oak casks for a minimum of 4 years. The result? A unique whiskey with a perfect balance of spicy, nutty and vanilla notes with hints of sweet sherry. Serving suggestion: Jameson, Ginger & Lime - A simple whiskey drink, it's a thirst quencher that couldn't be easier to make: 50ml of Jameson Irish Whiskey, ginger ale to taste and a wedge of lime. Mix in a highball glass, give the lime a squeeze and drop it into the glass.

This quintessential Irish whiskey is distilled with unmalted barley grown on our family farm and triple distilled in copper pot stills. Matured at our Atlantic Ocean warehouse in ex-Bourbon, Oloroso and Amontillado Sherry casks, capturing the essence of our coastal heritage. Nose: Vanilla sweetness leads to hints of demerara sugar, citrus peel and kiwi. Taste: Vanilla, caramelised pear and apple, gives way to a gentle wood spice, dark chocolate and orange. Sea salt and caramel lingers on the finish. The Atlantic's Edge At the southern tip of Ireland, where dramatic coastlines meet stormy seas, lie our barley fields. Filtered by nature Using our three majestic copper pot stills, we create an exceptionally elegant new make spirit. This spirit is cut with deep well water which has been perfectly filtered by nature. Time spent maturing in these double-charred barrels lends our whiskey a unique richness, with more intensified notes of vanilla sweetness and caramel, alongside toasted wood, fruit, and warm spice. Jameson Black Barrel - triple distilled, twice charred, for a rich smooth taste. Jameson Black Barrel was the recipient of many accolades throughout 2019. Black Barrel was a finalist in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge scoring a very high 94 points. Black Barrel also received a double gold medal in the San Francisco World Spirit Competition.
