The grapes for this Squealing Pig Sauvignon Blanc were sourced a long way frem anywhere from Awatere Valley, Marlborough. The wine was cool fermented and left on lees to develop an aromatic texture. Bursting with flavour, this wine is mouth wateringly good perfectly crisp and refreshing with tropical fruit flavours of passionfruit, pineapple and citrus.

Our knowledge of the Marlborough region has allowed our winemakers to select and harvest grapes earlier than usual to craft full-flavoured wines that are naturally lighter in alcohol than those in the Brancott Estate range. With fragrant passion fruit, lemons and grapefruit aromas on the nose. These aromas are followed by a sweet pungency and ripe lemon sherbet flavors that change to mangos. Our iconic Sauvignon Blanc has a zesty and vibrant nose, with notes of juicy citrus and makrut lime underpinned by subtle white nectarine and passionfruit notes. The palate is mouth-watering, with ripe vibrant passionfruit and citrus at the fore. These meld with tropical hints of peach and guava, gently balanced by stony saline notes. This wine doesn’t need food to be enjoyed at it’s best, however is generously versatile pairing beautifully with fresh fish, shellfish and light fragrant dishes.
