Preparation & Usage
Wash before use How to Care Carefully remove the plant from the paper sleeve Place the plant on a saucer and leave on a windowsill Water by filling the saucer when soil is dry to touch Take the leaves from the top of the plant as needed when cooking and rinse before use Fresh thyme with butter fried onions and vinegar A fragrant savoury topping which goes wonderfully with grilled breast of chicken Ingredients - 4 Medium red onions, halved - 4 Tablespoons butter - 3 Tablespoons red wine vinegar - Salt & pepper - Bunches of thyme Method Halve 4 medium red onions and slice them about 3/3 inch thick. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a pan. When the butter foams add the onions and sauté briskly while stirring over high heat. After a few minutes they will be lightly browned. Continue to cook until they are done, then add 2 to 3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar. Stir quickly as the vinegar cooks off. Season to taste with salt, freshly ground pepper and several bunches of thyme leaves roughly chopped.
