A Christmas cracker – (whiskey sour)

2 shots Bushmills Whiskey
1 shot fresh lemon juice 
½ egg white  
1 bar spoon cherries in syrup
Dash of bitters     
1 large ice cube, for serving

For the Cocktail:
- 2 shots Bushmills Whiskey
 - 1 shot fresh lemon juice
 - ½ egg white
 - 1 bar spoon cherries in syrup
 - Lots of ice
 - 1 large ice cube (for serving)
 - Dash of bitters
 
Method
To Prepare the Whiskey Sour:
- Add whiskey, lemon juice, egg white, and cherries in kirsch to a cocktail shaker.
 - Dry shake (without ice) to emulsify the egg white.
 - Add lots of ice to the shaker and shake again until well chilled.
 - Strain into a brandy tumbler over one large ice cube.
 - Finish with a dash of bitters and serve immediately.
