First, we take the best of pot still and fine grain whiskeys. Then we triple distil them. Not because we have to, because we want to - this gives Jameson its signature smoothness. This tradition began in 1780 with John Jameson, and we continue his legacy to this day. Finally, we age our whiskey in oak casks for a minimum of 4 years. The result? A unique whiskey with a perfect balance of spicy, nutty and vanilla notes with hints of sweet sherry. Serving suggestion: Jameson, Ginger & Lime - A simple whiskey drink, it's a thirst quencher that couldn't be easier to make: 50ml of Jameson Irish Whiskey, ginger ale to taste and a wedge of lime. Official records stretch back to 1608, when the area was granted its license to distil. Over 400 years later, whiskey is still being made in Bushmills, thanks to experience and craft passed down from generation to generation. We couldn't make our whiskey anywhere but here. Our water, drawn from the River Bush, flows over beds of basalt rock, the same rock that lends its unique character to another famous local attraction - the Giant's Causeway. Bushmills is more than just a whiskey. It's a village, where family, friends and neighbours work side by side at the distillery. As we often say, "without the village, there would be no whiskey and without the whiskey, there would be no village".

This quintessential Irish whiskey is distilled with unmalted barley grown on our family farm and triple distilled in copper pot stills. Matured at our Atlantic Ocean warehouse in ex-Bourbon, Oloroso and Amontillado Sherry casks, capturing the essence of our coastal heritage. Nose: Vanilla sweetness leads to hints of demerara sugar, citrus peel and kiwi. Taste: Vanilla, caramelised pear and apple, gives way to a gentle wood spice, dark chocolate and orange. Sea salt and caramel lingers on the finish. The Atlantic's Edge At the southern tip of Ireland, where dramatic coastlines meet stormy seas, lie our barley fields. Centuries of sea mist and ocean spray have infused the soil, giving a complexity to every grain before being harvested and taken to our distillery by the waterfront in Clonakilty. High above sea level We began our journey at our Atlantic warehouse, 200 feet above sea level by the edge of the ocean. Our journey continues at Clonakilty where all our spirit is matured, blended, and bottled in-house under the watchful eye of our head distiller. Only then can we call it Clonakilty Irish Whiskey. Filtered by nature Using our three majestic copper pot stills, we create an exceptionally elegant new make spirit. This spirit is cut with deep well water which has been perfectly filtered by nature. Our spirit is then filled into carefully chosen casks where it patiently rests in our maturation warehouse as it slowly extracts its wonderful flavours.
