Farmhouse Beers from Donegal At Kinnegar we pair brewing tradition with a contemporary sense of adventure to produce clean, crisp, full-flavoured beers. The brewery is named after the beach beside its birthplace, just north of Rathmullan in Co Donegal, on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. Lough Swilly's natural and cultural history is captured beautifully in the Irish and English placenames that mark its coastal features. Craigies Ballyhook Flyer Bottle (500 ml), €3.70

Each year at our farm in the rolling hills of Co. Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland, we use the finest Irish apples to make a cider that reflects the individual characteristics of both the apples themselves as well as the seasonal variations of each vintage. Our Ballyhook Flyer blend is made from 100% Irish apples. It is dry and elegant and possesses both fruit and savoury flavours which are prolonged on the palate by its natural freshness. We recommend drinking it with pork or poultry dishes, fine cheeses or of course just simply on its own.

Duvel Belgian Golden Ale (330 ml), €3.70

Duvel ‘ORIGINAL ’ Type: Belgian Strong Blond ABV: 8,5% Vol Origin: Puurs, Belgium Overall impression: Slightly fruity, dry aroma, well hopped, with a slightly bitter aftertaste Awards: ‘World’s Best Pale Ale - Belgian Style Strong’ - 2018 and 2020 - Gold ‘Pale & Amber Ale: Strong Blond/Golden Ale’ - 2018 - Gold Duvel 'ORIGINAL' has been the ultimate ambassador of the Duvel Moortgat family for many years. Its subtle bitterness, refined flavour and distinctive hop character make this natural beer stand out. Beer brewed with passion and dedication This blond specialty beer has been brewed in Puurs since 1923 under the name 'Duvel'. After a long refermentation and maturation, Duvel is ready to drink. The brewer uses his own breeding culture for brewing. The original yeast strain, selected by Albert Moortgat himself in the 1920s, originates from Scotland. After maturing in storage tanks, in which the beer is cooled down to around 0°C, it's is ready for bottling. Thanks to the addition of extra sugars and yeast, the beer ferments again in the bottle. This happens in warm cellars (24°C) and takes two weeks. Then the beer is moved to cold cellars, where it continues to mature and stabilize for another six weeks. This extra long maturation period is unique and contributes to the refined flavour and pure taste of Duvel. Your taste buds will love this Thanks to its beautiful foam head, fine effervescence and silky smooth mouthfeel, Duvel and its 8,5% alcohol volume, stands out from other Belgian strong beers. Duvel 'THE ORIGINAL' is the reference among strong Belgian blond beers. The bouquet is spicy with some citrus, slightly leaning towards grapefruit due to the use of only the best hops. These characteristics can also be found in the taste. Thanks to the high amount of CO2, the beer has a delicious roundness in the mouth. A Duvel perfectly quenches your thirst, and it's the ideal aperitif as well. How to enjoy a Duvel? The beer is at its best at 5°C. During the pouring ritual, it's important to avoid contact between the bottle and the iconic tulip glass. Hold the dry glass at room temperature at an angle of 45° and slowly pour the beer up to the Duvel logo. Then gently turn the glass upright, while you continue to pour. When the Duvel is poured, a tornado of bubbles arises. This is because of the engraved “D” at the bottom of the glass that breaks down the CO2, which helps to maintain the foam longer. You can decide for yourself whether you pour the sediment into your glass or not. By doing so, the yeast creates a slightly bitter aftertaste and a cloudy appearance. Devilishly delicious combinations with Duvel This strong Belgian blond beer goes perfectly with Flemish classics such as stew, steak, fries and asparagus. Other heavenly combinations include poultry, matured Comté cheese, hard cheese such as Damse brie and Passendale, and shellfish such as mussels, scampis and sushi. Duvel. Brewed to be Lived.

Erdinger Heffe Weissbier Bottle (500 ml), €2.90

The original since 1886. Erdinger Weissbier Classic wheat beer blends gently spicy malt aromas with mildly bitter hops. Its secret lies in our unique Erdinger brewing yeasts. They provide the fruity notes and unmistakably fresh flavour. The finishing touch for every Erdinger Weissbier is a further specialty: the “Bayerische Edelreifung” or double maturity method. After the main fermentation process, we give our beer the time it needs to mature a second time in the bottle. And we are happy to give it this time. Because this allows its delicious lively nature and the harmonious interplay of its various aromas to fully unfold. Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast, the crowning glory of traditional Bavarian brewing skills. With its elegant flavour, this wheat beer is like no other. Every sip leaves you wanting more.

Erdinger Weissbier Dunkel Bottle (500 ml), €2.90

A specialty for connoisseurs. Erdinger Dunkel wheat beer is calm and confident. Strong, dark and exceptionally harmonious. The first sip reveals a symphony of carefully selected dark wheat and barley malts. Refined roasting aromas give this wheat beer its strong character. Erdinger Dunkel bottles were a specially crafted present from our master brewers for owner Werner Brombach's 50th birthday in 1989. The “boss” was so thrilled with the matured, aromatic speciality that he decided to put it on the market in 1990. What makes this full-bodied specialty go down so easily? It's the balance between malt notes with their touch of sweetness and a pleasantly refreshing finish that reverberates long on the palate. Lovers of strong aromas appreciate Erdinger Dunkel as a genuine specialty. “Bayerische Edelreifung” - for perfect enjoyment. Brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law.
