Ideal for buttercream, royal icing, chocolate and meringue Without a coupler 1. Drop the piping tube, narrow end first, down into the piping bag. 2. Push down firmly into place. 3. Cut off the end of the piping bag to expose the end of the piping tube. Using a coupler 1. Unscrew the ring from the base of the coupler. 2. Drop the base of the coupler, narrow end first, down into the piping bag. 3. Mark the bag with a pencil at the halfway point between the bottom edge of the coupler thread and the bottom edge of the coupler. 4. Cut the bottom of the bag straight across using the mark as a guide. 5. Push the coupler securely down into the bag exposing the end. 6. Fit the piping tube onto the exposed end of the coupler. 7. Place the ring over the tube and screw into place. Tip To change the piping tube, unscrew the ring, replace the tube and screw the ring back onto the base.
