Neil Joubert Estate Wine Sauvignon Blanc (75 cl), €10.00
Winemaking The grapes were harvested in three tiers, each at different sugar levels to add complexity to the final blend. The juice was cold fermented in stainless steel tanks, with no oak contact. Cold- stabilized, fined and filtered prior to bottling. Tasting Notes Bursting with exotic aromas of white peach, passion fruit, yellow citrus, orange blossoms and green pepper. The palate shows lovely fruit concentration, with a delicate texture and a lifting acidity. Pure, focused, elegant and fresh, with lingering notes of guava and citrus fruits on the lengthy, dry finish.
Niel Joubert Reserve Chenin Blanc (75 cl), €17.00
Winemaking After de-stalking and crushing, the juice was allowed to settle and then transferred to new 400L French oak barrels for primary- and malolactic fermentation. The wine was left in barrel on the fine lees for 16 months (with regular batonage to enhance the mouthfeel) after which it was racked and returned to barrel for a further 12 months barrel ageing. Tasting Notes Expressive aromas of yellow apple, quince, kumquat, dried pineapple, and a touch of oak spice. The palate has an excellent balance of fruit and oak, with bright acidity adding freshness and backbone. The wine has a creamy, rounded mouthfeel and a satisfying finish with yellow citrus and stone fruit flavours. A complex, food-friendly wine that will facilitate further bottle ageing for 5-6 years from vintage.
Nugan Estate Alcira Cabernet Sauvignon (75 cl), €12.00
This rich and soft Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the classic Coonawarra region in South Australia. After fermentation, the wine was matured in new and one year old French oak for 16 months before bottling. As is typical of this signature variety, aromas of cassis, mint and eucalypt followed by a long and complex palate of ripe cassis, mint and rich chocolate with velvety tannins.
Nugan Estate Alfredo Dried Grape Shiraz (75 cl), €12.00
This Dried Grape Shiraz is sourced from our family's premium vineyards in the Riverina and McLaren Vale. Once harvested, a parcel of this Shiraz was dried on specialized racks to create flavour intensity and concentration. After fermentation, the wine matured in American and French oak for 18 months, resulting in a hand crafted wine of quality. Attractive aromas of cherry and plum with dark chocolate, earth and herbaceous notes, followed by a long and complex palate of black cherry with savoury nuances and smooth velvety tannins.

Our sauvignon blanc vineyard is in a rugged cold mountainous area which is not easy to farm but we persevere as it's unique microclimate produces, cracking crisp zesty flavours we love. Daren Owers, our winemaker, reckons this wine is a real stunner and worth the hassle. Our vineyard manager is not so sure! After harvest, we whole bunch press the fruit and then ferment at slow cool temperatures to capture all those delicate natural aromas and flavours. After it settles, straight to the bottle. It's all about the fruit, fresh citrussy flavours in a glass. PS - this wine was sustainably farmed and produced in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.
Nugan Estate Manuka Grove Durif (75 cl), €12.00
Winemaking Durif is a rich and robust red grape variety that revels in the warm and dry conditions of Manuka Grove at Hanwood, New South Wales. Upon reaching optimum ripeness, the parcel was harvested and destemmed without crushing, to retain whole berry during ferment. Fermentation was undertaken in rotary fermenters, which were rolled twice daily for 8 days ahead of pressing to new and seasoned American oak hogsheads for maturation. Winemaker's Comments Deep garnet in appearance with youthful crimson hue. Aromas of dark cherry and blood plum over milk chocolate oak. The palate displays rich and generous flavours of black cherry, plum pudding and dark chocolate melded with earth and vanillin notes. The final result is a delicious, full bodied red wine with generous fruit intensity, balance and structure.
