The name Trivento comes from three winds; Polar, Zonda and Sudestada. It is these winds that make Mendoza such a distinctive and successful wine growing region. A bright crimson red whose plum and raspberry aromas mingle elegantly with vanilla notes from the 6 months spent in French and American Oak. Well balanced, with sweet tannins and a velvety finish, Trivento Reserve Malbec is ideal with meats and tomato dishes.

Nugan Estate Dreamer's Chardonnay (75 cl), €8.00
Daren Owers, our winemakers, does not enjoy big buttery, oaky chards so we pick our fruit at night to preserve the crisp and bright aromatics and flavors which are present when the fruit is cooler. After the destemming process, we press and ferment the fruit in stainless steel tanks. After the initial alcoholic fermentation we leave the yeast in contact with the juice for 6-8 weeks, stirring every day to build the middle palate texture of the wine. The oak treatment is minimal with this wine and it's all two and three year old barrels, so you can be sure it's crisp and fresh. The critics and our customers have responded well to this approach and we intend to keep it that way. Our mates reckon it's a real summer 'porch punder'! PS - This wine was sustainably farmed and produced in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.

Chateau Haut Medou Bordeaux Superieur (75 cl), €8.99
Winemakers for generations, Family Sorges acquired Château Haut Médou in 1957. They started with only 6 hectares of vineyards and extended to more than 200 hectares in Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations. Château Haut Médou has a deep red colour, with a rich nose of black fruits aromas. On the palate this wine has a well-balanced evolution with velvety mature tannins.

Pablo Old Vine Garnacha (75 cl), €8.99
Sometimes you come across something special that leaves an impact. The gnarly old bush vines that bear the precious fruit that go to make this delicious wine were planted up to 100 years ago in the mountain vineyards of Atea. Struggling to survive in dusty, dry slate soils at an altitude of 1000 metres they have the ability to produce this amazing wine: deep blue-purple colour.
