La Petite Perriere Pinot Noir Rose (75 cl), €8.00

We drew our inspiration from the generations who came before us and from them gained our deep understanding of the Central Loire Grape varieties. With love and rigour, we set out to conquer France's best Sauvignons and Pinot Noir in order to make wines with perfect balance. Sophie Valrose was from the South of France. Legend has it that Sophie became something of an inspiration to the women who worked tirelessly alongside her in the vineyards. Sophie challenged the exploitation of female workers who were often mistreated, underpaid and over-worked. Inspired by Sophie's story, Bijou is a tribute to her memory. Le Bijou de Sophie Valrose is produced with grapes from low-yielding, handpicked bush vines, alike those Sophie harvested herself many years ago.
