Preparation & Usage
Preparation - Take roast from fridge & remove all packaging 30 minutes before cooking. - Allow the roast to come to room temperature. - Pat roast with kitchen towel and dry before seasoning. - Brush with oil & season with sea salt & pepper. Cooking Appliances vary, the following are guidelines only. Preheat oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/ Gas 4. Add a tablespoon of oil to a hot pan and brown the meat on all sides. Place in a suitable roasting tray and add 125ml of water. Cover with foil, and place into the centre of the oven. Follow the times below depending on how you like your meat, ensuring product is thoroughly cooked. Rare: 60 minutes Medium: 75 minutes Well done: 90 minutes Serving Resting: Allow the roast to rest on a clean board for at least 15 minutes. Carving: Place the roast on a chopping board & slice thinly using a sharp knife. Serving: Pour any remaining juices from the roasting tray onto the roast. Serve on a pre-heated plate.
Storage Guidelines
Keep refrigerated at 0°C to 5°C. Do not open until ready to use. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Do not exceed the use by date. Suitable for freezing. If freezing, freeze on day of purchase and consume within one month. Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use and use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once thawed.
