Feeding Guidelines Fresh drinking water should be available at all times. Individual puppy's requirements may differ from this guide. The amount of food that a puppy requires will depend on factors such as age, breed and level of activity. Adjust the amount given to keep your puppy in lean condition. Puppies may be weaned onto this food from 3-4 weeks. For this first feeding, the kibbles should be soaked thoroughly in lukewarm water. Puppies are the best judge of their own needs.
