Preparation & Usage

Recommended Cooking Times: Turkey 160°C. 325°F. 8lb-12lb (4-6kg) - 3 1/2-3 3/4 hours Gas Mark 3 12lb-15lb (6-7 1/2kg) - 3 3/4-4 1/4 hours 15lb-18lb (7 1/2-9kg) 4 1/4-4 3/4 hours Note For boned and rolled joints allow up to 5 minutes per lb longer. Cooking times vary according to taste. Please check periodically by piercing joint through bag with meat fork. How to Use Magic Turkey Bag 1 Preheat oven. Do Not preheat oven tray. 2 Shake one teaspoon of flour to coat inside of bag. 3 Insert food and secure bag with nylon tie. 4 Cut off excess bag. Do Not allow bag to touch oven walls. 5 Use scissors to make several slits in top of bag before placing in oven. 6 After cooking, cut open bag to remove food. Keep juices to make gravy. Check by piercing the joint through Turkey Bag with a meat fork.
