Wally's Hut was built on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in the 1860's to shelter a lone boundary rider who rode the fenceline of this once vast grazing property. Today, the lone rider is long gone and the landscape has been transformed by vines but Wally's Hut stands as his legacy. Our sauvignon blanc vineyard is in a rugged cold mountainous area which is not easy to farm but we persevere as it's unique microclimate produces, cracking crisp zesty flavours we love. Daren Owers, our winemaker, reckons this wine is a real stunner and worth the hassle. Our vineyard manager is not so sure! After harvest, we whole bunch press the fruit and then ferment at slow cool temperatures to capture all those delicate natural aromas and flavours. After it settles, straight to the bottle. Alterra Special Reserve Chardonnay (75 cl), €7.99

Aconcagua Valley Alterra wines harness the intensity and flavours of Andes Mountain grapes, producing distinctive wines with varietal characteristics and superb ripeness. This wine was oak-fermented and then barrel-aged for only 3 months. Mixing notes of pear and pineapple with toasted hazelnut, it has a rich texture and a long finish marked by vanilla and mineral notes. Owned by the family Bantegnies for the last 2 centuries, this beautiful Estate is producing traditional Bordeaux red and white. They have during the last 20 years, consolidating the château's reputation for producing the appellation's foremost wines. Château Manon Des Brumes white goes perfectly with sea food, smoked salmon, grilled fish and cheeses. Wine makers comments: Brilliant colour, clean and fresh nose with hints of menthol leaves.
