Throughout the ages, the foothills of the Andes Mountains have been visited by many. History is spoken through the mysterious drawings, 'Petroglyphs', that cover the rocky hillsides of Viña San Esteban, inspiring this modern creation, In Situ. Our vines grow alongside these drawings to create this blend of 90% Carmenere, 5 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Syrah, a rich and silky wine that delivers an attractive nose with dark berries, pepper and forest scents. A unique wine to enjoy with teriyaki - based dishes, crispy duck or a juicy steak.

In Situ Reserva is crafted from grapes that ripen on our steep slopes alongside mysterious rock drawings from ages past. Here, sunshine and cooling breezes combine to create these complex and elegant wines. This wine is brimming with plumy fruit and liquorice with hints of chocolate and spice. Balanced and concentrated with a round, elegant finish. A stylish wine that will add class to spicy Indian fare or chili con carne.

La Maldita Rioja Garnacha (75 cl), €10.00

Traditionally, Garnacha has been the 2nd most planted grape variety throughout Rioja. The difficulty associated with producing high-quality Garnacha in Rioja has left locals referring to the grape as La Maldita (little cursed one). Due to low yields and a lack of profitability, a majority of growers have chosen to uproot their vineyards and to re-plant them with less demanding varietals. This wine aims to celebrate that heritage, and prove outstanding Garnacha can be made in Rioja. These grapes are sourced from old-vine, high altitude vineyards planted on pure gravel soils.

Lady De Mour Margaux (75 cl), €37.99

This is Margaux in its purest form. Cabernet Sauvignon is supported by Merlot and a touch of Cabernet Franc that has been aged in oak for 12-15 months. Delicate notes of red berries on the nose, so very typical of Margaux. Elegant and well-structured ripe dark fruits combine with silky tannins giving the wine a wonderfully long and pleasing finish. Enjoy this wine now or age for 5 to 10 years.

Original blend sourced from dark skinned grapes give an intense red colour to the wine. Ageing in medium toast French oak, together with the natural essence of dark cocoa, delivers exquisite notes of caramel and nuts. Soft tannins on the palate and a lingering finish.

Tasting Notes: This wine leads with dark berry and plum aromas on the nose. There is a gentle herbaceous top note, even with a hint of vanilla. The succulent palate is smooth, carrying the berry fruit to a satisfyingly luscious conclusion. 30% Matured in Old French Oak barrels for 18 months.

Niel Joubert Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (75 cl), €17.00

The Reserve Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Note: The bouquet leads with rich dark fruits, followed by savory and roasted coffee. It has velvety tannins and its excellent balance between tannins, acidity and fruitiness shows finesse. Nugan Estate Alcira Cabernet Sauvignon (75 cl), €12.00

This rich and soft Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the classic Coonawarra region in South Australia. After fermentation, the wine was matured in new and one year old French oak for 16 months before bottling. As is typical of this signature variety, aromas of cassis, mint and eucalypt followed by a long and complex palate of ripe cassis, mint and rich chocolate with velvety tannins.

Made from grapes grown in the premium wine producing region of South Eastern Australia. This wine has balanced delicate fruit and intense flavour. The Merlot fruit was harvested at optimum ripeness in the cool of the night to preserve the delicate fruit flavours. Intense, lifted aromas of plum and cherry entwined with hints of spice, herbs and dark chocolate. On the palate, attractive and complex red berry flavours combine with rich, silky tannins on the finish.

Rich, honest wines that showcase the regions in their most natural light. Rich red in colour with purple hues, this wine displays aromas of blackberries and plums with hints of pepper and spice. The palate is rich, round and soft with concentrated berry fruits and soft velvety tannins.

Low yielding vineyards have produced the fruit for this wine, that has been handled carefully to ensure we achieve great color and flavors. Using quality barrels gives us just the right amount of oak. This is a lovely full bodied style of Shiraz and is bursting with ripe berry fruit, spices and black pepper, with subtle tannins and a long, smooth finish. Enjoy with a wide range of dishes including vegetarian, pasta and red meat dishes.
