One of those recipes everyone should have in their back pocket. Carb, protein and fruit in a single glass, made in the time it takes to butter toast. Handy for breakfasts on the run or after-school snacks before training!

Mixed Berry Smoothie

250g Frozen Mixed Berries
1 Ripe Banana
4 tbsp Greek Yoghurt
300ml Milk
1 tbsp Honey
60g Porridge Oats
1 tbsp Milled Flaxseed
Directions
Ingredients
- 250 g frozen mixed berries
- 1 ripe banana
- 4 tablespoons Greek yoghurt
- 300 ml milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 60 g porridge oats
- 1 tablespoon milled flaxseed
Method
- Add everything to a blender.
- Blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds until smooth and creamy. Add a splash more milk if it's too thick.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately, or pour into a flask or insulated cup for later. It keeps in the fridge for up to 24 hours but is best fresh — give it a shake before drinking if it separates.
