2 medium free range eggs
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
3 apples, diced
1 tsp vanilla extract

Ingredients

  • 2 cups porridge oats
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 medium free range eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 apples, diced
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons raisins (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Signature Tastes Passion Fruit Curd (for serving)
  • Supervalu Signature Tastes Vanilla Yoghurt (for serving)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°C.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the porridge oats, milk, eggs, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well blended.
  3. Add the diced apples, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using). Mix thoroughly to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. If desired, fold in the raisins for added sweetness.
  5. For individual portions, divide the mixture evenly into 8 ramekins. Alternatively, transfer the entire mixture to a single baking dish.
  6. Bake the ramekins for 20 minutes, or the large baking dish for 40 minutes, until the oats are fully set and the top is golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
  8. Serve warm, topped with a dollop of Supervalu Signature Tastes Vanilla Yoghurt and a drizzle of Signature Tastes Passion Fruit Curd for a delicious finish.
