Very Berry Beetroot Smoothie

375 ml Coconut Water
5 - Ice Cubes
0.5 small Lime juice only
20 g Porridge Oats
1 small SuperValu Fresh Organic Raw Beetroot roughly chopped
100 g SuperValu Frozen Mixed Berries such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and/or blackberries
2 tbsp SuperValu Goodness Flax Seed
1 small SuperValu Peach or nectarine, stoned

- 1 tbsp Agave Syrup or maple syrup
- 375 ml Coconut Water
- 5 - Ice Cubes
- 0.5 small Lime juice only
- 20 g Porridge Oats
- 1 small SuperValu Fresh Organic Raw Beetroot roughly chopped
- 100 g SuperValu Frozen Mixed Berries such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and/or blackberries
- 2 tbsp SuperValu Goodness Flax Seed
- 1 small SuperValu Peach or nectarine, stoned
Method
- There's no need to peel the beetroot if you scrub it well. Simply place all the ingredients in a blender and blitz for 1 minute, until completely smooth and creamy.
- This can be made in advance and stored in the fridge overnight for a grab-and-go breakfast - just give it a stir before serving.
- LIGHTEN UP Fresh fruit is bursting with goodness, but do keep in mind that it’s also high in sugar too, even though it’s natural sugar.
