Preparation & Usage
All appliances vary, the times and temperatures given are guidelines only. For best results refer to manufacturer's guidelines. Cook times are calculated 20 minutes per 454g (lb) plus 30 minutes extra Do not remove chicken from packaging. Pierce bag where indicated. Place in oven in a deep roasting tray Cut bag open ay 30mins before end 1 Pre-heat oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6. Fan assisted oven to 180°C. For calculated cook time, see front of pack. 2 Pieroc the bag where indicated. Place the chicken in its packaging in a deep roasting tray and cook in the center of the oven for the time indicated on the front of the bag is and of the total 3 To crown the chicken: 30 minutes before end of the total cooking time, carefully remove the chicken from the oven and using a pair of scissors cut open the full length of the bag and expose the chicken. Please be careful when removing chicken from the oven and opening that bag as it will contain steam and hot cooking juices. Return to the oven to brown for a further 30 minutes. 4. Allow chicken to stand in the packaging in a warm place for approximately 10 minutes prior to serving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked before eating. To check product is cooked, insert a skewer into the deepest part of the flesh. If product is cooked, the juices will run clear, if not continue to cook as required. Do not reheat. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Please ensure that the bag does not come into contact with an open flame or heating element.
Storage Guidelines
Suitable for home freezing. Keep refrigerated between 0°C and +4°C. Do net exceed use by date. If freezing, freeze on the day of purchase. Use with in one month of freezing. Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator prior to cocking. Do not refreeze once thawed. Use within 24 hours of defrosting.
