How to make the perfect pot Our Master Blenders recommend one teaspoon for each person and one more for the teapot. Use freshly boiled water, give the leaves a gentle stir and allow to infuse for 3-5 minutes. The longer you leave the tea to infuse, the stronger it will taste. Give the teapot one more stir before pouring through a strainer. Experiment with the amount of tea leaves and how long you leave them to infuse to get the balance of flavours that's right for you.
