A unique vatting of single pot still and single malt Irish whiskey, triple distilled for extra smoothness, aged and matured to perfection in flame charred bourbon barrels. Distilled entirely of barley in traditional Irish copper pot stills bursting with flavour and complexity. Flashes of apple, hints of vanilla and sweet honeycomb dance over a distinctively Irish pot still base, oozing with spice and ginger, alongside background notes of toasted oak. Fading to a long, elegant finish with subtle notes of milk chocolate and almonds.

Yellow Spot 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Whiskey (70 cl), €89.95

Whilst Green Spot is often described as tasting like green apples, Yellow Spot is more in character with juicy red apples. Sophisticated and complex in character. Yellow Spot is special in that it contains whiskey that has been matured for a full 12 year period in three oak cask types : American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts, and Spanish Malaga casks. The Malaga cask brings an exotic sweet note to the whiskey making it a truly delightful taste experience. Limited quantities of Yellow Spot have been bottled making it a whiskey to savour. Nose: Mown hay & cracked black pepper. Red bell peppers, nutmeg, clove oil & green tea. Sweet honey & peaches from the Malaga casks. Taste: Honey sweetness with pot still spices. Flavours of fresh coffee, creamy milk chocolate & Crème Brûlée. Notes of red apples & toasted oak. Finish: Sophisticated & complex with a sweetness throughout, followed by a mix of red grape & dry barley upon exit.
