Coffee House Lane Aikenhead's Wholebean Coffee (227 g), €5.95
The Home of Ireland's First & Finest Coffee
In 1690, Coffee House Lane, adjacent to the then busy trading port of Waterford, boasted what is long believed to be Ireland's first ever coffee house. Coffee beans from all over the world were traded at Waterford port, before being carefully roasted and brewed for Waterford's elite society at John Aikenhead's Coffee House, situated on Coffee House Lane.
Our 'Aikenhead's' wholebean coffee originates in Costa Rica, Colombia & Brazil & has notes of chocolate, caramel & nuts. Using 18gms of finely ground coffee you will get an exceptional espresso, or grind a little coarser for top quality filter, cafetiere or Aeropress brews. See our website for more tips.
