Kinnegar Scraggy Bay IPA Can (440 ml), €3.25

Farmhouse Beers from Donegal At Kinnegar we pair brewing tradition with a contemporary sense of adventure to produce clean, crisp, full-flavoured beers. The brewery is named after the beach beside its birthplace, just north of Rathmullan in Co Donegal, on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. Lough Swilly's natural and cultural history is captured beautifully in the Irish and English placenames that mark its coastal features. Beneath the Knockalla Hills lies Scraggy Bay, giving us a local maritime name for a style of beer with a great maritime past.

A craft beer born of the cooley mountains, we take our name from the legend therein. Bold enough to be different, brave enough to stand alone, brewed to be as unique as The Mighty Fox. Our session IPA has subtle malt character carrying grapefruit and stone fruit flavours from the use of simcoe and mosaic hops.

While climbing Torc Mountain, legendary warrior Fionn Mac Cumhaill was attacked by a magical, ferocious boar. With a single swift blow, Fionn killed the lunging boar in mid-air with his fabled golden spear. This popular and approachable beer exhibits a deep golden colour and is smooth and balanced from the perfect combination of malt and hops. We brew it with a touch of wheat matched with just the right amount of floral hop flavour to create an amazingly thirst-quenching beer.

Local legend tells of a fierce battle between Thor and the Devil. Thor cast down lightning bolt after lightning bolt upon the Devil, who retaliated by tearing up the earth and hurling it back. The resulting basin filled up with water and became known as the Devil's Punch Bowl. Our classic Munich-style Helles Lager is a pale golden brew with an exceptionally crisp and clean finish.
