Fleurie The most famous of all Beaujolais Villages. Made from the same Gamay grape as classic Beujolais but Fleurie is a heavier more powerful red. The same red berry fruits are evident, but now with some added complexity of darker fruits, pepper and Christmas spices make for a lovely, easy drinking but powerful red wine. Great with hard and soft cheeses and classic roasts, be it red or white meat.

Aresti Estate Selection Merlot (75 cl), €8.00

This Merlot has a deep red color with intense aromas of fresh fruits, such as raspberry and touches of vanilla. It's a medium-bodied wine, sweet tannins in mouth and pleasant end. Best served with white meat, pasta dishes and cheese. Ideal temperature: 14 - 18°C

La Croisade Cabernet Syrah (75 cl), €9.99

This rich, soft and juicy Cabernet Syrah comes from selected vineyards in the Languedoc region of southern France. It has lovely aromas of raspberries with liquorice hints, and is concentrated and full-bodied with a long and supple vanilla finish due to its maturation in French oak barrels.

Owned by the family Bantegnies for the last 2 centuries, this beautiful Estate is producing traditional Bordeaux red and white. They have during the last 20 years, consolidating the château's reputation for producing the appellation's foremost wines. Château Manon Des Brumes red goes perfectly with roast, beef and light cheeses Wine makers comments: Brilliant and attractive colour, ripe black fruit nose of blackcurrant hints. Intense fruit aromas of plum and blackcurrant are mixed with hints of mint and cassis while a subtle balance of oak imparts a spicy savouriness. The palate is layered with berry fruit flavours, balanced with rich chocolate undertones, and complemented by fine grained tannins on the finish.

Willow Hill Shiraz Cabernet (75 cl), €8.99

The Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested from the best slopes in the vineyards. They then undergo temperature controlled fermentation to preserve the pure fruit character. The wine, once fermented spends some time in oak barrels to add complexity and character to the final wine. The result is a rich full bodied wine with aromas of blackberries, chocolate and spice. The palate is full and round with ripe soft tannins, autumnal fruit, cassis and spicy oak. This is a great all round wine, superb on it own and a great match for traditional roast, tomato based pasta dishes and steak. Enjoy!

Chateau Haut Medou Bordeaux Superieur (75 cl), €17.99

Winemakers for generations, Family Sorges acquired Château Haut Médou in 1957. They started with only 6 hectares of vineyards and extended to more than 200 hectares in Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations. Château Haut Médou has a deep red colour, with a rich nose of black fruits aromas. On the palate this wine has a well-balanced evolution with velvety mature tannins.

Chateau Pey La Tour Bordeaux (75 cl), €11.49

Owned by Dourthe since 1990, château pey la tour is located on a magnificent terroir, enhanced by exemplary levels of vineyard management setting the standard within the Bordeaux appellation. Stunning garnet in colour, on the nose the wine is defined by red fruit notes. Soft and remarkably well-balanced, this wine reveals attractive lingering aromatics on the finish.

Cotes Du Rhone Andre Goichot (75 cl), €11.99

Location and terroir Over 200 km, between Vienne and Avignon, the Rhone Valley has the largest regional appellation after Bordeaux, it is also one of the oldest controlled designations of origin. It extends over 163 municipalities divided between six departments (Rhône, Loire, Drôme, Ardèche, Gard and Vaucluse). Our Côtes du Rhône is made with Young vines (less than 20 years old) located in the Vacqueyras appellation area from Stony soil composed of blue marls. Vinification/Aging The grapes are destemmed and vinified in stainless-steel vats for about 10 month revealing all the freshness and subtlety of his aromas. Grapes are: 55% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre and 35% Syrah. Tasting The robe is clear, ruby, and bright with darker colour reflect due to the Syrah. On the nose reminiscent of small red fruits, with animal or spicy notes or aromas of ripe fruit. It has well-structured but supple tannins. One of our favourite wines at the House of Goichot. Soft, easy drinking red in the classic style wich to us is red and blackberry fruit with a dusting of spice and chocolate notes. Perfect to drink on its own due to the soft warm style but a lovely match for anything from home made burgers to cold meat platters and classic roasts.

Finca Labarca Crianza (75 cl), €13.00

This wine has a deep black-cherry colour and an intense bouquet with scents of vanilla, fresh toast and coffee, entwined with notes of red berry fruit and dry plums. On the palate it is silky smooth, structured and complex with well-integrated oak, and a remarkable finish. Variety: 100% Tempranillo / Consumption: Consume between 16 and 18°C. This wine is a natural product and is made with minimal human intervention - it may therefore contain a slight deposit

Aglianico is a black grape grown in the southern regions of Italy, mostly Basilicata and Campania. It produces a full-bodied wine with firm tannins and high-acidity giving it good aging potential. This Aglianico is a dark, deep ruby red with enjoyable cherry and red berries fragrance followed by a marked vanilla and spicy note. A soft, pleasant mouth feel with nuances of cherry, plum and spice. Pairs beautifully with all roasted red meats and aged cheeses.
