45 ml Lime , juice
2 tsp Salt
120 ml Tequila

  • 2 tsp Salt

Method

  1. Prepare your glasses: Rub the rims with lime juice, then dip in salt (and chili flakes if desired). Place in the fridge to chill until ready to use.
  2. Mix the drink: In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds.
  3. Serve: Fill the chilled glasses with ice and strain the margarita evenly between them. Garnish with a lime wedge or a slice of jalapeño for added spice.
