Preparation & Usage

To Reheat a Whole Ham 1 Pre-heat oven to 180°C/ Fan oven 160°C/ Gas mark 4 and remove all packaging. 2 Wrap the ham with baking paper and then tinfoil. 3 Place ham on a rack placed in a roasting tray with approximately 2 cm of water in the base. For extra flavour, the water can be replaced with cider or add some spice such as star anise, cloves, cinnamon, or a bay leaf to the water. 4 Gently steam cook your ham, allowing 1 hour for each kg of weight. Top up the water in the roasting tray if necessary during cooking. 5 Increase the temperature to 200°C/ Fan oven 180 °C/ Gas mark 6 and remove the wrapping for the final 20 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize giving a golden finish. Ensure product is piping hot throughout. Do not reheat more than once. Slow cooked, succulent and ready to serve. To Reheat Slices 1 Preheat oven to 200°C/ Fan oven 180°C/ Gas mark 6 and remove all packaging. 2 Generously carve your slices of ham to the desired thickness. 3 Evenly spread the sliced ham over a rack placed in a roasting tray with approximately 2 cm of water in the base. For extra flavor, the water can be replaced with cider or add some spice such as star anise, cloves, onion, or a bay leaf to the water. 4 Cover the roasting tray with tin foil. 5 Gently steam cook your sliced ham for 20-25 minutes.
