This quintessential Irish whiskey is distilled with unmalted barley grown on our family farm and triple distilled in copper pot stills. Matured at our Atlantic Ocean warehouse in ex-Bourbon, Oloroso and Amontillado Sherry casks, capturing the essence of our coastal heritage. Nose: Vanilla sweetness leads to hints of demerara sugar, citrus peel and kiwi. Taste: Vanilla, caramelised pear and apple, gives way to a gentle wood spice, dark chocolate and orange. Sea salt and caramel lingers on the finish. The Atlantic's Edge At the southern tip of Ireland, where dramatic coastlines meet stormy seas, lie our barley fields. This Irish Whiskey is matured in carefully hand selected oak casks for almost two decades. It is then given a final marrying period of at least 6 months in a fresh American oak barrel to impart further unique complexity and elegance. This whiskey spirit is wonderfully mellow and smooth, with complex flavours swirling on the palate of toffee, spice, subtle hints of wood and leather. Jameson 18 Year Old Irish Whiskey has a long lingering finish that carries the theme of the wood, a flourish of spice and toffee right through to the end.
