Coffee House Lane 1690 Blend Freshground Coffee (227 g), €5.95
In 1690, Coffee House Lane, adjacent to the then busy trading port of Waterford, boasted what is long believed to be Ireland's first ever coffee house. Coffee beans from all over the world were traded at Waterford port, before being carefully roasted and brewed for Waterford's elite society at John Aikenhead's Coffee House, situated on Coffee House Lane. Our '1690' wholebean coffee originates in Guatemala & Honduras, & has notes of toffee & chocolate. Using 18gms of finely ground coffee you will get an exceptional espresso, or grind a little coarser for top quality filter, cafetiere or Aeropress brews. See our website for more tips.
