The wine, once fermented spends some time in oak barrels to add complexity and character to the final wine. The result is a rich full bodied wine with aromas of blackberries, chocolate and spice. The palate is full and round with ripe soft tannins, autumnal fruit, cassis and spicy oak. This is a great all round wine, superb on it own and a great match for traditional roast, tomato based pasta dishes and steak. Enjoy!

Attractive aromas of cherry and plum with dark chocolate, earth and herbaceous notes, followed by a long and complex palate of black cherry with savoury nuances and smooth velvety tannins.
