Andre Goichot Saint Bris Maison (75 cl), €18.00

In northern Burgundy, near Auxerre, there is a vineyard of around 100 ha planted with Sauvignon grapes. Saint-Bris is the only appellation in Burgundy with this grape variety, which produces an aromatic wine with notes of grapefruit and citrus, and flinty notes on the palate. A perfect match for fish and shellfish, as well as fresh cheeses.

Lovely soft light style of Chardonnay with apple blossom and white stone fruits on dry but not too sharp finish. Should be served well chilled. This is an ideal aperitif. It also makes a great match for fish and seafood dishes as well as goat's cheese.
