The Brita Classic filter cartridge reduces limescale and substances such as chlorine, which affects the taste and odour of tap water. Furthermore it reduces metals such as lead and copper. The result is cleaner, clearer, great tasting Brita filtered water for hot and cold drinks and for delicious food. You will also have less limescale build-up in your domestic appliances. 4-step filtration 1 Intensive pre-filtration: The water flows through a fine mesh filter. 2 lon exchange filtration: The ion exchange resin reduces limescale (carbonate hardness) and certain metals such as lead and copper. 3 Activated carbon filtration: The activated carbon reduces substances that affect smell and taste such as chlorine. 4 Intensive final filtration: The special fine mesh filter retains particle mixture.
