Ingredients
1 SuperValu Signature Tastes Hampshire Ham Fillet 2.7kg
100g Muscovado sugar
50ml honey
80g dijon mustard
100ml Jameson Whiskey
Juice and zest of 2 oranges
35 cloves
Directions
- Cook your ham according to on pack instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Muscovado sugar, orange juice and zest, honey, and whiskey. Mix until well combined. Then, stir in the Dijon mustard until you have a smooth paste.
- Score the cooked ham in a crisscross pattern and stud it with the cloves. This helps the glaze adhere better, resulting in a more delicious finished product!
- Preheat your oven to 180°C. Place the ham in a large oven dish and pour half of the glaze over it. Bake for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, pour the remaining glaze over the ham and continue baking for another 15 minutes. Be sure to baste the ham every 10 minutes for an even, beautiful glaze.
