Preparation & Usage

You Will Need: 450g Odlums Irish farmhouse brown bread mix 350ml water 1 tsp oil 900g/2lb loaf tin Method: 1. Preheat oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6. 2. Grease the loaf tin. 3. Add dry mix to a mixing bowl. Pour in 350ml water and 1 teaspoon of oil. Mix thoroughly with a spoon to form a dough. 4. Transfer the dough into the tin. Spread evenly, smoothing the surface with the back of the spoon. 5. Make a cut 2cm/3/4" deep lengthwise along the centre of the dough. 6. Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. 7. Turn out onto a wire tray. Cool completely before slicing. Note: As baking characteristics of ovens vary, always check your manufacturers guidelines.

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store in an airtight container.
