Ingredients
5 large Bramley apples peeled, cored and sliced into wedges
100g SuperValu Signature Tastes salted caramel sauce, or any other caramel sauce
Pinch cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla bean paste
300g plain white flour
150g butter, cubed
100g soft light brown sugar
100g rolled oats
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch salt

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C / 180°C fan.
  2. Place the apples in a pan and stir in the caramel sauce and a pinch of cinnamon.
  3. Cook the apples over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring regularly until just soft. Stir through the vanilla, then tip into an ovenproof dish.
  4. For the crumble, rub the flour and butter together until it resembles breadcrumbs, then stir in the sugar, oats, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  5. Add the crumble mixture to the top of the apples, trying not to press down too much so the crumble remains light.
  6. Place the crumble into the oven for 20-30 minutes until lightly browned on top and bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving with custard.
