Preparation & Usage

All You Need is 300-325ml milk 7"/18cm round tin To Make 1. Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6. Grease the 7"/18cm round tin. 2. Empty contents of pack into a mixing bowl and add cold milk. Mix thoroughly with a spoon. 3. Transfer the dough into the tin. Spread evenly with the back of a spoon dipped in water, until smooth and dust with flour if liked. 4. Cut a traditional cross through the dough with a sharp knife. 5. Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for approximately 30 minutes or until well risen and golden. 6. Turn out onto a wire tray and cool completely before slicing. To make a loaf follow instructions above using a 2lb loaf tin. Fan Oven: As baking characteristics of fan ovens vary, always check your manufacturer's guidelines. Top Tip: Add a teaspoon of mixed spice or cinnamon for variation. Enjoy!
