Preparation & Usage
Oven 45 mins 220°C/425°F/ gas mark 7 prick potatoes with a fork, sprinkle salt onto a baking tray then add potatoes. Bake until cooked through. Chips 170°C/325°F then 190°C/375°C peel and cut into chips, then wash and dry well. Fry until soft and lightly coloured, drain well and allow to cool. Increase temp as above and fry quickly until crisp and golden. Drain and serve. Boil 20 mins at a simmer place potatoes into a saucepan, cover with water and place lid on. Bring to the boil then reduce heat and simmer until cooked. Drain and serve. Ross' favourite! Roast 45 mins 220°C/425°F/ gas mark 7 boil as above but simmer for only 8 to 10 mins. Drain & shake over a low heat. Preheat 3 to 4 tbsp of sunflower or olive oil in roasting tin in oven and when hot carefully turn the potatoes in the oil to coat well. Season with salt and roast for 30 mins until golden. Microwave 4 to 5 mins at 1000W cook 180g of potatoes for 4 to 5 mins at 1000W. Unpeeled potatoes should be pricked well. As models vary please refer to your manufacturer's instructions booklet.
