Our wholesome organic porridge oats are made by a milling process which has been refined over the last 180 years. Their unique nutty flavour is attributed to the process whereby we twice steam and slowly kiln the oats. They contain beta-glucan, a soluble fibre that can help to maintain normal cholesterol levels as part of a healthy and balanced diet. One serving (40g) contains 1.8g of beta-glucan which amounts to 58% of the recommended daily intake. For a beneficial effect the recommended daily intake of beta-glucan is 3g.Features
