The gnarly old bush vines that bear the precious fruit that go to make this delicious wine were planted up to 100 years ago in the mountain vineyards of Atea. Struggling to survive in dusty, dry slate soils at an altitude of 1000 metres they have the ability to produce this amazing wine: deep blue-purple colour. Lifted perfumed aromas of flowers and fresh blueberry. Lush blackberry and cherry flavours cram the mid palate with an underlying spicy pepperiness. Weighty without being overbearing it delivers a punch of juiciness that will leave your palate stunned!

Wine of great personality with a very appealing and covered cherry red color. It is intense on the nose, excelling the ripe fruit, spices and cocoa aromas from its stay in oak barrel for 36 months. On the palate it is a structured wine, with vivid and well assembled tannins. Long aftertaste, highlighting his round and elegant finish. Great with red meat, game dishes, roasted lamb, vegetables, meats and cheeses.
