The Cono Sur vineyards workers travel around our estate by bicycle, tending the vines using naturals methods, in order to produce the best quality grapes. Our bicicleta wine is a tribute to them and symbolizes our sustainable philosophy and commitment to the environment. Winemaker's Notes: A crisp and intense Sauvignon Blanc with refreshing citrus aromas, white peaches, litchi and a palate of green apples balanced by a nice acidity.

Art White Malbec #391 A gentle crushing immediately followed by pressing of the grapes to avoid colour pigmentation has conferred this exemplar bright, steely highlights and the crispness of white wine. On the nose, floral aromas stand out, laced with notes of red fruit such as raspberry and cherry contributed by Malbec.

A delicate blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Its contact with a medium toast French oak, gives it notes of spices. Everything you wanted to discover in a wine, but weren't able to put into words.
Nugan Estate Bossy Boots' Sauvignon Blanc (75 cl), €8.00
Our sauvignon blanc vineyard is in a rugged cold mountainous area which is not easy to farm but we persevere as it's unique microclimate produces, cracking crisp zesty flavours we love. Daren Owers, our winemaker, reckons this wine is a real stunner and worth the hassle. Our vineyard manager is not so sure! After harvest, we whole bunch press the fruit and then ferment at slow cool temperatures to capture all those delicate natural aromas and flavours. After it settles, straight to the bottle. It's all about the fruit, fresh citrussy flavours in a glass. PS - this wine was sustainably farmed and produced in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.

Nugan Estate Alfredo Dried Grape Shiraz (75 cl), €12.00
This Dried Grape Shiraz is sourced from our family's premium vineyards in the Riverina and McLaren Vale. Once harvested, a parcel of this Shiraz was dried on specialized racks to create flavour intensity and concentration. After fermentation, the wine matured in American and French oak for 18 months, resulting in a hand crafted wine of quality. Attractive aromas of cherry and plum with dark chocolate, earth and herbaceous notes, followed by a long and complex palate of black cherry with savoury nuances and smooth velvety tannins.

Nugan Estate Dreamer's Chardonnay (75 cl), €8.00
Daren Owers, our winemakers, does not enjoy big buttery, oaky chards so we pick our fruit at night to preserve the crisp and bright aromatics and flavors which are present when the fruit is cooler. After the destemming process, we press and ferment the fruit in stainless steel tanks. After the initial alcoholic fermentation we leave the yeast in contact with the juice for 6-8 weeks, stirring every day to build the middle palate texture of the wine. The oak treatment is minimal with this wine and it's all two and three year old barrels, so you can be sure it's crisp and fresh. The critics and our customers have responded well to this approach and we intend to keep it that way. Our mates reckon it's a real summer 'porch punder'! PS - This wine was sustainably farmed and produced in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.
