The Gordon's distillery was established in 1769 by Alexander Gordon as he set out on a mission to produce a gloriously tasting gin worthy of carrying his family name. Gordon believed that success lay in the elegant combination of pure distilled grain spirit and rich botanicals. To this day Gordon's is distilled to this same exacting standard and the product is triple-distilled to guarantee the purity of the gin. The exact blend of botanicals remains a closely guarded secret with a combination of handpicked wild juniper berries, coriander, angelica and liquorice. Sprung from the minds of masters and apprentices, method and madness pays heed to tradition, while searching for unordinary. After endless exploration and small batch distillations in the micro distillery, Midleton, 16 eclectic botanicals, including black lemon & Irish gorse flower, came together to form a gin filled with clean character and a hint of chaos. Juniper berries, sweet & bitter orange peel, black lemon, lemon peel & lemon verbena, coriander, cardamom & caraway seeds, ginger, nutmeg, cassia bark, lavender, basil & bay leaves and Irish gorse flower.
