The grapes that give origin to Insigne grow at nature's rhythm and fully mature, expressing vivacity harmony and purity, making each variety unique. Bright ruby colour with intense aromas of red and black fruits. Cherries, blackberries and plums are present with a slight touch of spices and a lingering fruit finish.

Pablo Old Vine Garnacha (75 cl), €8.99

Sometimes you come across something special that leaves an impact. The gnarly old bush vines that bear the precious fruit that go to make this delicious wine were planted up to 100 years ago in the mountain vineyards of Atea. Struggling to survive in dusty, dry slate soils at an altitude of 1000 metres they have the ability to produce this amazing wine: deep blue-purple colour. Lifted perfumed aromas of flowers and fresh blueberry. Lush blackberry and cherry flavours cram the mid palate with an underlying spicy pepperiness. Weighty without being overbearing it delivers a punch of juiciness that will leave your palate stunned!

Fleurie The most famous of all Beaujolais Villages. Made from the same Gamay grape as classic Beujolais but Fleurie is a heavier more powerful red. The same red berry fruits are evident, but now with some added complexity of darker fruits, pepper and Christmas spices make for a lovely, easy drinking but powerful red wine. Great with hard and soft cheeses and classic roasts, be it red or white meat.

Appassimento wines are created by doing a natural partial dehydration of the grapes, in order to produce a greater concentration of colours, aromas and flavours. This Second Pass Shiraz is sourced from our family's premium vineyards in Australia. After fermentation, the wine was pressed onto the pomace and yeast less of our premium "Alfredo" Dry Grape Shiraz adding to the wines' intensity. Thereafter, the wine was matured in French and American oak for 12 months resulting in a wine of concentration and quality. Attractive aromas of rhubarb and cherry with tobacco, dark chocolate and earth are followed by long and complex palate of ripe raspberries and blueberries with dark chocolate and velvety tannins.
