Original blend sourced from dark skinned grapes give an intense red colour to the wine. Ageing in medium toast French oak, together with the natural essence of dark cocoa, delivers exquisite notes of caramel and nuts. Soft tannins on the palate and a lingering finish.

Alterra Special Reserve Chardonnay (75 cl), €7.99
Aconcagua Valley Alterra wines harness the intensity and flavours of Andes Mountain grapes, producing distinctive wines with varietal characteristics and superb ripeness. This wine was oak-fermented and then barrel-aged for only 3 months. Mixing notes of pear and pineapple with toasted hazelnut, it has a rich texture and a long finish marked by vanilla and mineral notes. Natural spring water from the magnificent Andes Mountains flows through the valley to our vineyard, where "Altitude" and "Terroir" combine to create Alterra sun-filled wines.

Owned by Dourthe since 1990, château pey la tour is located on a magnificent terroir, enhanced by exemplary levels of vineyard management setting the standard within the Bordeaux appellation. Stunning garnet in colour, on the nose the wine is defined by red fruit notes. Soft and remarkably well-balanced, this wine reveals attractive lingering aromatics on the finish.

Marques de Riscal Rioja Reserva (75 cl), €22.00
Vinos de los Herederos del Marqués de Riscal has been, since its foundation in 1858, a pioneering winery in Rioja. It was the first winery in Rioja making barrel-aged, wines. Vivid Sensations of Marqués de Riscal takes shape in the City of Wine, where tradition and innovation live together in perfect harmony. It is made with the varieties Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo from vines over 15 years old. The picking is made by hand and it is aged for 25 months in American-oak barrels. It's got a balsamic aroma with notes of ripe fruit. In the mouth it's fresh, light and persistent with soft and round tannins. This wine matches with ham, mature cheeses, stew with not very spicy sauces, cooked or boiled legumes, poultry, red meat and all kind of roast and grilled meat.

This cava is produced using traditional techniques, by means of a second fermentation which takes place in the bottle. Proceeding from the combination of wines from traditional white varieties: Macabeo, Xarel.lo, Parellada. Pale yellow colour with green hues. Bright with abundant small bubbles. Good aromatic intensity. Clean, fresh and fruity. Silky on entry, vivacious and balanced. This cava can be enjoyed with all types of food.
