Hunters Peak Shiraz Cabrnet Sauvignon (75 cl), €7.99

This Hunter's Peak Reserve wine is made from the classic grapes Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The climate, cooling Atlantic breeze and terroir in South Africa are ideal for these two red grape varieties. They are harvested when perfectly ripe and blended together to produce a balanced wine with bundles of autumnal fruit flavours. Enjoy on its own, with cheese, red meat, game or tomato based pasta dishes. Why not try it with a little chocolate? Serve at 15° - 20°c. Bon Appétit!

Tasting Notes: This wine leads with dark berry and plum aromas on the nose. There is a gentle herbaceous top note, even with a hint of vanilla. The succulent palate is smooth, carrying the berry fruit to a satisfyingly luscious conclusion. 30% Matured in Old French Oak barrels for 18 months.
