Eden Lodge Sauvignon Blanc (75 cl), €8.59

Located 250km north of Capetown this wine region represents the Cape's highest and most westerly vineyards. Orange groves line the riverbank alongside fields of Rooibos tea bushes. The red sand and alluvial soil along with cooling Atlantic breezes provide excellent growing conditions for the Sauvignon Blanc grape. With the assistance of modern technology in state of the art wineries, the Olifants River Valley is now emerging as a very good Sauvignon Blanc producing region of South Africa. Nugan Estate Alfredo Second Pass Shiraz (75 cl), €12.00

This Second Pass Shiraz is sourced from our family's premium vineyards in Australia. After fermentation, the wine was pressed onto the pomace and yeast less of our premium "Alfredo" Dry Grape Shiraz adding to the wines' intensity. Thereafter, the wine was matured in French and American oak for 12 months resulting in a wine of concentration and quality. Attractive aromas of rhubarb and cherry with tobacco, dark chocolate and earth are followed by long and complex palate of ripe raspberries and blueberries with dark chocolate and velvety tannins.

Nugan Estate Single Vineyard Zinfandel (75 cl), €13.99

This Single Vineyard Zinfandel has been sourced from the renowned red wine region of McLaren Vale, South Australia. It has been handcrafted as a robust red wine of intense concentration and depth. Rich aromas of glace cherry, red currant and bramble entice the nose, followed by a rich and concentrated palate of liqueur plum, candied red fruits, all spice and pepper layered with persistent fine tannins and well integrated oak.

The Colección is a series of estate wines, each from a single low-yield vineyard, giving outstanding varietal character and representing the unique qualities of their individual terroir. Although not native to Spain the Gewürztraminer vines which were planted in 1990, have found their ideal Spanish home at Vinas del Vero. With its distinct floral aromas, complemented by notes of tropical fruit such as lychee, pineapple and papaya create an aromatic full bodied white wine, pale yellow in colour with a greenish sparkle.

Aresti Estate Selection Chardonnay (75 cl), €7.49

A Chardonnay straw in colour with green lights; it features aromas of sweet fruits such as pears, melon and cucumber, that after a while are also felt in mouth. It's a medium-bodied wine with a wonderfully long finish. Best served as an aperitif or with salad, pasta, seafood or chicken dishes. Ideal temperature: 9 - 13°C

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Malbec, captivates with notes of red fruit and light hints of spices. Lingering fresh vanilla and mocha are also present from its 18 months spent aging in oak. This is a full-bodied, complex wine, best served with red meat dishes.

Aresti Mystique Mystery One Reserva Red Blend (75 cl), €15.99

Vinification The grapes in this Red Blend were carefully harvested and vinified. Fermentation took place under controlled temperature conditions between 25 and 27°C to preserve the freshness, smoothness and intensity of aromas. Following fermentation, 50% of the blend was aged in third fill or older French and American oak barrels for six months and the remainder was aged in stainless steel vats to preserve its fruity aromas.

Aresti Mystique Mystery Two Reserva Carignan (75 cl), €15.99

Vinification The grapes were harvested in late March, crushed, and fermented at 26°C for 7 days, with a total of 12 days of skin contact. Afterward, the grapes were pressed. Malolactic fermentation took place in French and American oak barrels, where they continue to evolve and gain complexity during a 12-month aging period. Tasting Notes Intensely ruby red Carignan, offering complex notes of black fruits, earthy nuances, and delicate floral hints. Full-bodied with firm tannins, it boasts a long, persistent finish with echoes of chocolate and coffee.
