Preparation & Usage

Cooking Instructions All appliances vary the following are guidelines only. Note: This product is suitable for oven cooking in its own packaging. Remove cardboard packaging, remove label. For best results, cook in the packaging as per instructions below. To oven bake: 1. Peel off the entire label and retain for cooking instructions. Ensure no part of the label remains on the pack as this will affect cooking. 2. Place the product in a tray, with the flat side of the pack facing up. This will ensure juices are contained within the packaging during cooking. 3. Place in a pre heated oven at 180°C/ 350°F Gas Mark 4. Cook for 35-40 minutes. Ensure juices run clear when the deepest part of the meat is pierced with a sharp knife or a skewer. If not, continue to cook and check as required. 4. Carefully remove the tray from oven and allow to stand for 5 - 10 minutes. 5. Open the packaging carefully the joint will be piping hot. Remove the joint to a suitable carving surface. 6. Serve immediately after carving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked and piping hot throughout prior to serving. Once cooled do not reheat. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Safety Instructions Care must be taken when handling hot product. Take care opening the pack after cooking as it will be hot.

Storage Guidelines

Keep refrigerated at 0°C to +5°C. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Do not exceed the Use By date. Suitable for home freezing. If freezing, freeze on day of purchase and consume within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Use within 24 hours of defrosting. Once defrosted, do not refreeze.
