Mashed Potato and Stuffing Gratin

Ingredients

1. 150g crème fraiche

2. 75g butter, melted

3. 1 egg yolk ​

4. 1 clove garlic ​

5. 150g cheddar, grated (100g +50g)

6. 150g mozzarella, grated (100g +50g)

7. 600g mashed potato

8. 100g breadcrumbs

9. 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

10. 2 tbsp sage, chopped

11. 2 tbsp olive oil

12. Salt and pepper

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 180 ̊C

2. In a large bowl, combine the crème fraiche, butter, egg yolk, garlic, half of the chopped onions, 100g of the grated cheddar and mozzarella.

3. Stir in the mashed potatoes. Season well with salt and pepper and transfer the mixture into a gratin dish.

4. In a second bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, parsley, sage, the rest of the onion and the leftover grated cheeses. Season well.

5. Sprinkle the mixture over the mashed potato gratin. Add a few extra dots of fresh butter if desired.

6.Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes until piping hot and golden brown on the top, then serve immediately.
